ATM withdrawal limit has been changed by RBI once notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 has been banned.

But on 13th November 2016 (Sunday), government has removed the limit on ATM withdrawal from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2500 and cash exchange limit is increased to Rs. 4500.

Weekly and Daily Withdrawal

Previously, a person can easily withdrawal Rs.10,000 from bank account through ATM which is temporarily removed where as now you can withdrawal only Rs.24,000 on weekly basis.

The finance ministry is planning with RBI, banks and post offices to make notes available in all areas in county. Banks and post offices are instructed to make sure the availability of notes in all areas.

“Banks have also been specially advised to ensure availability and distribution of small denomination notes.”

“Coordination is being continuously done by the ministry of finance with RBI, banks and post offices to make all denomination notes available at all locations.”

Annual Life Certificate submission date

Annual life certificate submission date is now extended to January 15, 2017 for pensioners. The Annual life certificate is needed to confirm that they are alive.

We should appreciate the hard-efforts which banks employees are taking. It’s time to be patient and handle the situation with cooperation!! 🙂
